Volunteering
Volunteering is a good way to develop new skills, make new friends, get more experience to put on your CV and even achieve nationally recognised accreditation or qualifications. What does youth volunteering mean to you? Well, whatever you thought of you can now stretch your imagination even further … because there are literally so many ways and opportunities to volunteer.
You will find short-term taster opportunities lasting as little as 8 hours. There are what are called part-time opportunities which might last 2-4 hours a week for a number weeks. Lastly there are full-time opportunities that is the same sort of hours as a full-time job; a great way to develop your workplace skills.
