Sometimes, a little money makes a
huge difference

Some charities that are called ‘Trusts’ are set up just to give money to individuals or other charities. Medway Youth Trust is not like that. We exist to deliver much needed programmes and services for the young people and communities of Medway.

However, we have a commitment to establish and maintain small bursary schemes where a little money makes a massive difference to the opportunities for the recipient. Our reason for being here is to improve the life chances of young people in Medway and sometimes a small grant is just what is needed.

Medway Youth Trust was established in 2008 so we are in the early stages of this aspect of our work. Our first such scheme is for Looked After Children, young people who have been in care.
