Learning Choices

What does Learning Choices mean?

Everyone has different skills, interests and things that they enjoy. Learning choices is all about you thinking how you might prefer to learn and progress in education, employment or training as you get older. You will have subjects you enjoy as well as ideas as to how you like to learn; eg. practical activities, coursework or written exams. Thinking about what you aspire towards for employment is of course also important when making learning choices.

Having different choices can be confusing. It can also be hard to think about the future and even harder if there are things going on in your life right now which make a positive future seem a very long way away. And that is exactly why we are here. At Medway Youth Trust, we have a team of qualified and experienced Connexions Personal Advisers who are here to help advise you, guide you and give information to you. All their advice and guidance is impartial…this means they always act in the best interest of you.

This section of our website gives is a general guide about each of the choices you have in your learning. For more personal advice and guidance, contact your Connexions Personal Adviser in your school, college or training provider, or of course come and see us at our centre in Chatham. We are here for you.
